Apparently, I'm not very good at blogging. BUT, I am absolutely obsessed with fmylife.com...here are some that entertained me today :)


"Today, the man I have been dating for 3 weeks, who told me he owns a high end restaurant in the city, handed me my lunch order through the drive-thru at Wendy's. FML"


"Today, my fiance's divorce was finalized. To celebrate, we went out to dinner at this expensive restaurant. After dinner, he goes to the restroom. A couple minutes later, the check comes with a note saying: "Thanks! Gonna enjoy bachelor life. It's over." Left me with the $200 bill. He drove. FML"


"Today, at a hard rock concert, a bunch of guys accidentally knocked down a port-a-potty while moshing. I was inside that port-a-potty. FML"


"Today, I yelled at my little brother for leaving the toilet seat up and told him he needed to go around the house and make sure they were all down. I went to the bathroom later to find that the toilet seats and covers from every toilet had all been removed and were sitting on my bed. FML"


"Today, I dropped my keys. Not wanting to lean over and pick them up, I pointed at them and said "Accio." Then I realized I had tried to use a Harry Potter spell in real life and in public. FML"

I don't exactly know why I decided to start a blog, I guess mainly so I can document my every day thoughts and memories...without  having to make it seem like a diary entry. 

I don't expect many people to read it, it's mainly for my own amusement (so I can look back and laugh at what silly things I cared about).  Anyways, feel free to read and learn...I'm sure something I write will enlighten or entertain you =)

So to start things off here are some random facts about me: 

• I am full Afghan, not Persian like everyone assumes.
• I live in North County (Sabre Springs) and go to school at San Diego State; I'm majoring in International Security & Conflict Resolution.
• Don't underestimate my level of intelligence; you will lose.
• A good sense of humor will get you far with me.
• I am happy to say that I've been blessed with a pretty good, worry-free life for the most part...I'd like to give my mom credit for that.
• I don't really date or have boyfriends...the guys I meet are just not worth my time in that way. However, I do love having guy friends! They're just so much more laid-back and honest than girls. 
  
• I actually was blonde growing up. But my dad shaved my head when I was like 5 (people thought I was a boy for a good period of time...can you say TRAUMATIZING? haha) and I've been a curly brunette since.
• I love football and would choose a Chargers game over almost anything.
  
• You may think I am stuck up or shallow...but the real Zohra is actually a total weirdo; just ask my friends. "Creeping is caring!" LOL
• I absolutely love astronomy...if I didn't hate science so much I would probably be double-majoring in it.
  
• I love getting ready more than I do going out. 
• My friends make fun of me because I think Hannah Montana is one of the funniest shows...seriously. 
• I think it's funny that I'm known as "the only Afghan girl allowed out of her house"...maybe because my mother actually trusts me? thanks boys, and remember me because I will be the only Afghan girl to do a lot of things in the future.
